SMS

Texts for people who asked to hear from you.

SMS works when it reads like a person following up, and when every number on the list opted in. We set it up that way from the start.

  • Registered business texting (A2P 10DLC) before the first send
  • Consent captured on your form, with the terms in plain view
  • STOP and HELP handled automatically, opt-outs honored right away
  • One conversation per customer, sent at reasonable hours
  • No purchased or scraped numbers, ever

Questions about newsletters and SMS

What does a newsletter agency do?

A newsletter agency designs, writes and sends your newsletter and looks after the list behind it. At Be Leaded that covers the template, every issue, the sending domain and deliverability, segmentation, automations and a report after each send.

What is a good newsletter open rate?

MailerLite's 2025 benchmark put the median open rate at 43.46% across 3.6 million campaigns. The newsletters we run average 49%. Privacy features such as Apple Mail Privacy Protection inflate open rates across the industry, so we also watch clicks, replies and unsubscribes.

How often should we send?

Weekly or every two weeks suits most brands. Consistency matters more than frequency: send on a schedule readers can expect, and only when there's something worth reading.

Do you write the content?

Yes. We write every issue, or edit what your team provides. You approve each one before it goes out.

Which email platform do you use?

Most of our programs run on MailerLite. If you're on another platform, tell us which one and we'll say plainly whether we can run it there or move your list over.

Is SMS marketing legal?

Yes, with consent. In the US, marketing texts need the recipient's prior express written consent under the TCPA, and carriers require business numbers to be registered for A2P 10DLC messaging. We set up registration, capture consent and handle STOP and HELP replies. We don't text purchased lists.

What does it cost?

Programs start at $2,000 a month. The price depends on how often you send, how many audiences you have and whether SMS is included. You'll get an exact number after a 30-minute call.

Tell us who you want to meet.

Thirty minutes with the founder. You'll leave with a clear picture of your market, what a campaign would look like and what it would cost.
